The Open House team of wonderful volunteers are taking a well-earned Summer holiday. We’ll be closed for August but will be back in September for a bumper month of events.

The last few months have seen visits from the likes of Guy Shrubsole, Charlie Luxton, Maff Potts, Annelise Dodds MP, Vijay Prashad, Asad Rehman, James Meadway, Pat McArdle and Cat Hobbs. We’ve talked about public land ownership, sustainable architecture, housing & a ‘green new deal’ and how we could go about seeing homelessness differently.

In September we’ll have even more and we’ll be sharing more details on our social media channels soon.

As well as one-off events we’ll also be back with our regular weekly sessions; the Writing Home poetry session on a Wednesday morning, ‘Knit & Knatter’ on a Thursday lunchtime, Arts & Craftivism on Friday mornings, and of course the Camerados Coffee Morning on a Saturday morning.

We’re still open for a couple more weeks so do drop in or otherwise we’ll see you in September.
